bittornado software package provides bittorrent client (and tracker) with console and curses interfaces, you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install bittornado
bittornado is installed in your system.
Make ensure the bittornado package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep bittornado *
You will get with bittornado package name, version, architecture and description in a table
